A Sneak Preview Inside Headwaters Academy

Headwaters Academy is situated on 110 acres of shared forest, fields, & streams with the Elephant Thoughts Experiential Education Centre.  One of our founding promises is to “engage students in an exceptional outdoor and environmental education program.”  There is, however, still bricks and mortar to our school.  Our building is one of the first generation of passively solar heated projects in Ontario (it does have back-up heat for the coldest days) and is truly a stunning place to learn.
